Terms of use · last updated 6 September 2026
Plain terms, in plain words.
Using Aapki Gaatha means you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and clear.
What this is
Aapki Gaatha (aapkigaatha.com, by Qorvatech, India) is a service where you answer one question a day, by voice or by typing, and it becomes a book your family can read.
Free to begin
Creating an account, answering, keeping your voice and inviting family are free. Some things, such as a printed book or a larger plan, are paid; the price is shown clearly before you pay. Payments go through Razorpay. A printed-book order can be cancelled until printing begins.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put into the book belongs to you. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it to you and your chosen readers, transcribe it and arrange it into chapters. We do not use your content to train AI models or for advertising.
Sharing with family
You decide who reads the book. Whoever you invite is your responsibility. What is said in the family chat may be recorded into the book; that is the purpose of the service.
What not to do
Do not add another person’s story without their consent, do not post content that is abusive or unlawful, and do not try to break into or disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Closing your account
You can close your account any time from Settings or by writing to us; your data is removed within 30 days. Our privacy policy explains how we look after your data.
Our limits
We run the service with care but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. AI transcripts and chapter drafts can contain mistakes; the original recording is always kept so you can correct them. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there is a dispute, write to us first; we try to resolve things by talking.
